NEW 2009-2010
PEGAS 510 TOPSPEED band saw machine is suitable for cutting of steel materials including hard, problematically machined steels and special materials. The band saw machine has an extremelly robust construction. The arm is 25 grades sloped. Pulleys that are made of cust iron are of conic shape, there is a very powerfull planet drive, the blade is 54 mm high – all these facts ensure the maximum possible performance.
The machine is completelly covered by a bonnet. The danger of an injury is minimal, the cutting emulsion does not spurt and chips are not falling around.
The machine is constructed for use of bimetal as well as carbide blades.
For the maximum use of carbide blades the machine is equipped by :
- software that enables to reduce cutting feed at the beginning and end of the cut.
- very precise regulation of the cutting feed by servomotor
- automatic regulation of the cutting feed during overloading of the cut
- opening of the cutting zone during movement of the blade to its upper position ( the feeder moves the material to be cut, quides of the blade move automatically 2,5mm to the side).
- optic sensor for an automatic destination of the position of the arm above the material
Construction: the band saw machine has a very robust construction. The tough basement of the machine (combination of the steel weldment and polymerconcrete) with the position of two robust columns as close the clamping vice as possible minimalizes vibrations and enables the maximal cutting performance of the machine.
Arm: it is a robust weldment and it is designed so that the toughness and precision of the cut is ensured. The arm moves on columns by the linear leading and two hydraulic cylinders. The speed of the arm movement is measured by the rotary incremental sensor.
Vices (firm vice and vice of the feeder) are robust stell weldments.Jaws ensure secure clamping of the material. One jaw is longstroke ( the movement by longstroke hydraulic cylinder), one is shortstroke ( it releases its position when feeding the bar, the jaw is not worn out, the material does not slip). The firm vice is devided ( blade goes through the centre of the jaws). Jaws clamp the bar in front as well as behind the cut.
The roller conveyer goes through the whole machine, supports the bar in the whole lenght of the basement.
The feeder is a stell weldment. It is placed on the basement of the machine by the linear leading. The movement of the feeder (transport of the material) is ensured by a ball screw, gearbox, electroengine and frequency converter. The maximum lenght of the feed is 640 mm, the machine enables multiple feed.
Standart equipment:
- Pegas ARP System ( automatic regulation of the cutting feed depending of the resistance of the material to be cut), that is suitable for optimalizing of the cutting feed when cutting profiles by bimetal blades.
- hydraulic clamping of the blade with the indication of the wrong tightened blade.
- guides of the blade with hardmetal plates
- brush is driven by electroengine and ensures the perfect cleaning of the blade ( 650 turns in 1 min)
- drive by planet gearbox and three phase electroengine with the fluent regulation of the blade speed by a frequency converter.
Warning: Drive with planet gearbox answers the drive with worm gearbox and engine of about twice higher performance.
- cooling system for emulsion, leaded to the quides of the blade and by LocLine system directly to the cut groove
- working movements are controled by the hydraulic centrale. There are regulation valves in centrale for setting of pressures in vices.
Control: the operator chooses one of two regimes :
- MANUAL : the machine cuts the material immediatelly in a semiautomatic regime
- PROGRAM : the operator sets the cutting programm, machine realizes these programms, it is possible to make 99 different programms.The part of one programm is a complete setting of the cut : blade speed, feed speed, setting of an automatic regulation, setting of the hight of the bar to be cut, setting of the lenght of the bar and number of pieces. The lenght and number of pieces it is possible to set in 99 lines, the machine feeds differently set lenghts automatically.
